Yes, from my own experience, I used to take Depacote for a couple years and then it didn't work. Now I'm on Zoloft and Wellbutrin and there's no sign of depression after three years..

yes you can be depressed while on meds.. it may mean it is time to change them.. i like some of the other post have to change about once a year.. my doctor put me on cymblta when it first came out.. my land after about 6 weeks of taking it i was extremly depressed and ended up in the hospital (phys ward) it did nothing at all.. they have now put me on lexpro and it seems to be working pretty well.. i am also looking in too the VNS thearpy.. it is very interesting..
