Tanning beds?? Have you ever used them before??

Hi~
They have them in my execercise club for 25.00 a month for unlimited taning! Good price or no! Also how fast do you get tan? Do you wear a bathing suit or in the nude? Also do you have to use sunscreen? If so what SPF do you need??

that is a really good deal for 1 month! I always wear a thong also, or in the nude. I don't like funny tan lines from underwear or bras. I don't use sunscreen, I use tanning oils. they help you to tan faster, while they protect your skin.

you will need to work up to going for 15 mins. start out at shorter times, and gradually go up.
I never noticed the differnce, because it is so gradual, but my husband always notices. I will put a sticker on my stomach, like a heart, and that way you can see the actual difference!

That's a good deal if you go. Usually you go every other day. I prefer the booths myself, because you can move around and don't get strange tan lines. I use a thong when tanning and don't forget to get those funky little sunglasses. You're only in their 15 minutes, so you don't need SPF unless you are really fair skinned.

I did it once, in my health club. You go in nude (that's why they should have a spray bottle & paper towels, ettiquitte says clean it after use, common sense says clean it before use!)

I am fairly fair-skinned, and got quite a burn in just 15 minutes. So if I ever did it again, I would wear sunscreen. Think of it as being in the noon-day sun for 15 minutes, and choose your SPF according to your skin.

And tan lines - I guess I didn't shift around enough, because it left a funny little white patch on my rear! I know a few other girls to use them, and they have white patches too. so beware!

Yes that is a good price but only if you go. When i tried tanning I had to start a like 4 min because i have a fair complexion and just added min every few times I would go. Stopped going because I don't think it was really doing that much just impossible for me to tan.

I am white as white can be and when I went on my honeymoon to Mexico, I couldn't deal with being the whitest person there, so I went to a tanning salon. $25 is not bad for a month. If you are as pale as I was, you start out at 4 minutes and move up SLOWLY. It took me a whole 5 weeks to get just a little tan. They usually sell you tanning lotion, (cost more than the tanning.) But it helped me get tan faster. Oh, if you do it your whole life your skin turns into leather. Good Luck.
