Sort of, it's called acupuncture :-)

Other Answers:
There's no such thing. Anti-depressants are meant to be used in combination with therapy. You generally can't have just the medication without the shrink, let alone without having ever talked to any doctor about it.

Um.you're probably not going to like this answer, but.

OTC anti-depressants are called vitamins. If you complement this with a healthy, balanced diet, as well as exercise.you will notice a difference.

It's documented scientific fact.

I'm an RN.

No, I'm afraid not, and for good reason. A doctor who knows your history can give you a script for it. Try St. Johns wort (alternative medicine) you can get that over the counter at most pharmacies. Good luck.

You need to find the root of your depression, not try to find a way to pluck off the leaves.

Consult your physician, and be totally honest with them so they can help you.

Actaully. There is an OTC vitamin called St. John Worts that is supossed to help with depression. I bought some but enver really started taking it myself because I don't know if I believe in the whole Herbal cure things. You may want to try this, it is safe, so you dont have to worry about it kill you or anything. :) Hope this helps.
