Is luncheon meat and the meat from the deli both processed?
Question:
Answers:
Not necessarily. You can ususally tell by the shape of the meat.(Square of circle is most likely processed) The more expensive a meat is, the less likely that it is processed.

Stay away from both!
Yes, unless you are going to a nice deli and you actually see them slicing it off a chicken or turkey carcus.
yes
oh yes very
Yeah - they are both the same thing. Some meat is more "processed" than others. Turkey breast, for example, is usually injected with spices and broth, but is otherwise just meat. Bologna, on the other hand, is a collection of spices, fillers, meat, and meat "by products" (think snouts) all ground up and formed into a cylinder.
Most luncheon/deli meats have a lot of sodium and some preservatives. If you really don't want these thigns, bake an organic turkey breast yourself or grill some chicken and use that for sandwiches. It tastes better, has lower sodium, and is probably better for you.
