how do i treat pains from a retainer?
Question:
Answers:
Orajel will help with numbing lessions and warm salt water is a quick mouth care
Other Answers:
tylenol, or advil for the pain or discomfort
If you keep wearing it, the pain should disappear. Advil was my best friend during this time. The first person is right though.
asprin
Some sort of aspirin. Like Exedrin or Advil. They worked for me.
I also have retainers. I think what works best is if you where your retainers more often..then you won't get as much pain. Sometimes when i go a few nights without wearing them because I spent the night at a friends house or something, the next night they feel really tight, which can be painful. Also what the other people said, take some kind of medicine like tylenol or asprin. You could also ask your dentist or orthodontist.
i use to have one when i was 10 i just wore it to bed and so it was only on when i was asleep.besides u get use to it after a while
