It would be unhealthy to loose that much weight that quickly. Talk to a doctor and set up healthy weekly goals and methods to achieve them.

First of all, do not make a time limit on losing weight. That is the first mistake. People's body are different. Some people lose it fasr some do not. It depends on your metabolism. If you do not set a goal, but just eat right, exercise and take multivitamin each day, I recommend one a day weight smart that raises yiur metabolism, the weight will drop off in no time. Trust me.

Any more than 1 to 2 pounds a week and you are losing muscle. Then when weight is gained, it is usually gained back as fat, so you end up fatter at the same weight. The best approach is still a combination of exercise and eating better. No matter what the fad diets say, you still must eat less calories than you burn each day to lose weight. There is no loophole to this scientific fact. The other thing to consider is that you must eat to lose weight! Sounds funny but it is true. Below a certain minimum intake and your metabolism will slow in an attempt to conserve body mass. When you eat, you body burns calories faster, to prepare to metabolize you food. So the more times you eat in a day, the more this works for you. The American Dietetic Association recommends 6 mini meals. And the point system used by weight watchers is an easy way to count calories. Walk every day, drink plenty of fluids, and stay away from fast food. Get good information on things like: complex carbs vs simple sugars, the role of proteins, the need for small amounts of fats etc. There is a ton of good info out there. Get your friends and family to support you. If you blow it one day, bounce back! Don't let one day ruin the whole thing. Above all, don't associate your weight with who you are. What makes you a great person is what you do, and how you treat other people. Hope this helps. Good luck!
