How can I get rid of muscle mass in my legs? They're all muscle, very little fat, but are so big! Help.?

My legs are nearly all muscle, but I would really like to get rid of some of the muscle so my legs are smaller. Does anyone know how I can get rid of the muscle? I've tried eating less meat, hasn't helped. Anyone?

you lose muscles three times faster than you gain it. therefore if you have been working on your leg muscles for 3 months you should go back to how you started in 1 month, with no training.
thats the theory at least. quite a lot of it is genetics. some people will have more muscular legs than others, i personally find it very difficult to gain pectoral muscles.
without your workout programme its pretty difficult to say where or why you're going wrong. at a guess i would say stop doing leg exercises, lunges, squats etc. Also you can try to shift your emphasis away from cardio that strenghtens your leg muscles, ie jogging and cycling bad, swimming good.
you can try to cut down on your protein intake, which will prevent so much muscle being built, but its not a particularly healthy option.
sorry to be so vague, but without you workout programme its quite difficult to say. try cutting down on your CV and concentrate on your upper body. lift very light weights on high reps to tone and not build muscle

Change your exercise routine. Are you lifting weights? Try more cardio instead.

Instead of running or walking try sitting a lot more!

Don't eat less, just eat better. And for loosing muscle, I would suggest not lifting any weights and just going for cardio workouts for your legs. Don't do anything like stair masters though, do elliptical and biking. That should tone the muscle naturally and reduce the bulk of your legs. Good luck.

I don't think it's necessary to get rid of you muscle,muscle is a sigh of oomph.

I have a similar problem, I am not sure I can get rid of the muscles,so I building my upper body to balance out and doing very high reps on leg days. I don't want to quit building muscles just want them to be a long and lean as possible. Good luck I will be watching the other answers to see if any make sense.

It's good that you stop eating meat but..well you should eat a little more fruit and don't exorcise that much. The more you excesses the more mussel u get. so why don't u eat fruit, don't eat meat, and don't excises?
