I was wondering about the occurrance of male breast cancer & homosexuality. Any links between the two?

Question:
I was diagnosed several years ago with male breast cancer. 2% of the population gets it from what i have been told. I am wondering if there has been any studies linking the fact that I am gay with this disease or the increase of its occurrance. TIA.

Answers:
Unless you've been taking hormones to make you more feminine, then there is no link between male breast cancer and homosexuality.

Other Answers:
You might look for other links, such as obesity, heredity, or diet. Good luck!

No link between the two.

absolutely no link between gayness and breast cancer. It is just cancer of breast tissue. Even males have some breast tissue. The increase in breast tissue may be due to pituitary oversecretion of prolactin due to a pituitary tumor (prolactin secreting tumor). But even this does not have anything to do with breast cancer in males. It is just breast cancer and you unfortunately are in the 2% who get it. Just get treated for it without any other worry. All the best for recovery.
