Should the goverment provide free universal healthcare for all Americans?

Question:

Answers:
Well, all working, retired and disabled Americans should get healthcare-only exclude lazy wellfare loving mooches. We pay taxes, and the billions spent on a meaningless war could go very far for ensuring this and much more.

Other Answers:
Absolutely, the tax payers do not get the benefits -only people in higher places and with good money can get to live healthy.

Healthcare should free for all tax paying citizens of the US.

They say that it costs, well then, it costs to own private jets, have mid air wedding ceremonies, and only God knows what all.

The companies who in name of economic viability resort to outsourcing -render the average US citizen jobless and in a tail spin that is hard to recover from. All for the sake of profiteering.

Maybe we should look at free health care in other parts of the world to answer that question. It sounds good but being a nurse I realize it would only end up being corrupt and less beneficial for most people.

The average person needing a non emergency surgery in Canada can wait for years, those needing transplants usually never recieve.

The doctors would get a cut in pay and are often uncaring along with other health care employees. The rich would still benefit and the poor would still get the shaft. The bad doctors and nurses would work in the lower paying "free" health care and better doctors and nurses would open their own clinics for the rich.

Longer waiting lines and less professional workers. The rich would still be able to get the best of health care and poor the worst.

Absolutely. It is a paradox that the richest country in the world behaves like a third world one on that question.
If other industrialised nations do it, why can't the US?

one word yes and if america can help poor countries why not .
