How does treadmill incline work? No actual work of raising self up elevation, just running with angled foot?

you are running to standing still on an uphill plane that is moving downhill. It's the same as running uphill.

it helps raise your butt and firm up the backs of your thighs. here is what I do, i put it all the way up on the incline, put the speed on 1.5 or 2.5 and walk for about 10 mintues. it is a great work out. Carmen electra does this workout and she is in great shape.
