gallegrosshannon has the right idea, but the Zinc has to be Zinc Gluconate. Kroger & CVS pharmacy carries "Cold-Eze" It works! try at 1st symptom & it won't get you. If you start after the cold has a grip on you, it will lesson the length & severity of it.

i really like using aleve cold and sinus for the day, and nyquel n the evenings. but when i have a really bad cold i drink hot toties. all it is is:

whiskey.honey.lemon juice. take the three incredients and mix them evenly until they actually make a drink, you dont want it to think so take it a little easy on the honey, but you dont want it to strong so your drunk so take it easyon the whiskey also. take a shot of this every few hours and you will soon be seeing way better results.

Dayquil and Nyquil work really good. I have an awful cold right now. At night I take Nyquil, and right now I am not taking Dayquil--I am actually taking Advil Cold & Sinus to relieve the pressure from my sinuses--it is working well. Plus, some chicken soup for lunch is a good idea, too.

raw onions boost your immune system and help you fight a cold better. Best thing is whenyou feel a bit ow and know you're getting a cold eat some raw onion, you could put it in a sandwich with cheese, stops the cold in it's tracks.
