It's all about calories and protein.

If your looking to increase size (bulk)- muscle mass you need to EAT EAT EAT. To minimize fat growth stick to wholesome foods low in FAT but put down great quantities. It's not uncommon for bodybuilders to eat 6,000 calories a day. Also be sure to get your protein intake in there. You generally want about 1g of protein per 1lbs. of bodyweight. So if your 160lbs you need to have 160 grams of protein in your diet.

On another note, you have to maintain your workouts. Stick to compound movements and the big 3 (squats, bench, deadlifts).

If you are one of those that trains, eats and eats and does not seem to put on weight, i'll recommend you that you try one of those shakes that are loaded with calories. If you think you are eating enough food (and can't it anymore), but are not gaining any weight it might be that the protein you consume is being used up for energy instead of for building muscle. Thus in such a case I recommend that you consume a well balanced diet (the biggest amount your stomach allows you) and add 2 high calorie shakes per day.
