What is CHETOCAL,Can it be used for diebetic people what its side effects?

Good day
I am Eng. Samir from Iraq. , I am 44 years old and I am adiabatic since 1998 . , my length is 170 cm ., weight 69 , I took tow types of medicines ,Gliebel & Glocovage tab. , 3 times a day
Since 2004 , I heard about new medicine called CHITOCAL ,which is used for reducing the weight , but as I read , it is useful for the diabetic people , is it suitable to be used in my case , and dose this medicine have any side effects. Thanks in advance for answering the question.

I know Chitocal has been widely publicized as being a miracle weight losing pill, but trust me it isn't !
It contains two active ingredients; chitosan and Gymnema syvetsre, and they are supposed to prevent the fat and carbohydrates in the diet form being absorbed and thus you loose weight, however, this has not been proven to give good results in pracitce( i.e. it works only theoritically, but without actual real life results).
Besides, it is advertised as" eat all you want and still loose weight" , which is just another lie !
To lose weight you have to watch what you eat, and excercise regularly as much as your health and time permit.
If you are overweight you might try some diet pills that really work like Chitocal or Meridia. Although according to the weight and height you gave, your BMI is only 24, which means you are in the healthy weight range.
You just need to keep yourself from gaining more weight by eating right and being more active in your daily life, which is good for diabetes, as well.
