I just graduated from medical billing coding and they want people with experince to work. How can i get the experince if they're not hiring?

A degree gets your foot in the door . but experience ( to know exactly what you are doing and not having to ask question) and to be let free to do the job hired for and not have to be checked up on is what is wanted when they say that.

Apply anyway. Interviews sort out who they want to hire. If they think you qualify by your school experience they'll consider that. Schooling usually is considered experience.

because, no one is willing to take the time to train you properly, not that you need it as much as they think. it is pure laziness on their part.It's usually because there are so many people with degrees etc and qualifications and not enough jobs so they make the criteria tougher, plus it means that they know you are going to be capable on a practical side so they don't have to invest it so much training.
I know what you mean and sometimes you just have to start at the bottom, prove yourself, and work you're way up. I graduated last year and am finding it tough to find a decent post graduate job.

Employers almost always want people with experience. If you go in understanding that without the experience you will likely get a slightly lower wage than what is posted and keep applying you will find something where you can gain experience and at least get your foot in the door.Good Luck!
