what is the best way to help my 5 year old's loose tooth to come out?

Question:

Answers:
you leave it alone and let nature take it's course. baby teeth are there to make sure the adult teeth are in a good alignment with the gums and other teeth. to try to "speed up" the removal of the baby teeth is to expect future dental vists for braces and other cosmetic surgeries.

Other Answers:
give them hard foods to chew on or time

pull it off until she bleeds

my tooth came out when i had peant butter sandwiches and once while i ate an apple.

wet a few washcloths and put each in a baggie and put in the freezer till cold. give the child one to hold the tooth with to wiggle it while he's doing something else. when giving a fresh cloth from the freezer let it sit for a few min to thaw and be sure he flips it around and changes hand often. It will be out in a jiffy.

Toffee and Minties will pull out teeth if you aren't careful with them. (They'll also pull out fillings.) So, I guess you could give her one of those to chew on. Your 5 year old could just wiggle the tooth while he/she is watching TV. Make sure they wash there hands first and often to prevent infection. Good luck with tooth and be sure to leave it for the Tooth Fairy. :o)

Give them an apple and it should come out in the apple. it worked for my daughter.. just watch them so they dont swallow it.
