Well oily skin is actually not that bad and will be less prone to fine lines and wrinkles. But to keep it under control.
1. Wash your face once a day (washing your face more than once a day is not recommended by dermatologists or cosmetologists). I use "Anti Bac Skin Wash" by Dermalogica. It's a bit expensive but the bottle will last a very long time, and I really enjoy the product.
2. Follow with a moisurizer that is oil-free and will help mattify, I use "Pure Focus Gel Cream" by Lancome. They also have a lotion version of this product that (is less expensive) and lighter for the hot summer months ahead.
Origins has a less expensive version called "Balanced Diet."
You can always browse your local drug store for similar, less expensive products. Just look for "oil free" "non-comedogenic" (com-EEDAH-jenik)and "mattifying" on the label.
Good luck!
P.S.: your diet has nothing to do with it - eating less meat will not reduce the amount of sebum (oil) your body produces. Your body has a natural rhythm and tendencies, the only way to STOP oil production is to take a medication such a Accutane. This will dry up your body's oil production glands (it's a medication for severe acne).
Further, do NOT NOT NOT use a body cleansing bar on your face. The skin on your face is much different than that on your body and body wash could irritate the crap out of your face! Some people can get away w/ it but for the rest of us.trust me, it's not all just a marketing ploy!
I need medical attention but cannot afford it. What do I do?
