I have had a cough for 6 weeks, and I am on my second round of antibiotics. Please tell me what I can do to get better.

Well first of all you need to go back to the Dr.'s..it sounds like you have already been because you are on antibiotics, but has the dr. told you what you have?
A cough that lasts that long usually turns into bronchitis or pnemounia..but seeing that you are treating it with medicine your doctor must have a diagnosis for you.also take a cough medicine syrup that will coat your throat..some cough drops..drink lots of fluids..and rest when possible..you should call your dr. back soon to let him know your status.hope you get well soon!

have they done a chest xray, maybe you have pnemonia. That is what happened to me, they refused to give me antiboitics saying it was just a cold. So maybe you should discuss with your doctor.
