when you wash your hair, rinse the shampoo and conditioner in cold water, room temperature at most if you're scared of cold water, then gel it when it's still damp.I have curly hair. I have the same problem. You can use leave in conditioner or an anti-hair frizz gel. There are a number of hair products that could help. Unfortunatly alot of them are fairly expensive.

check with the doctors first. then head onto your best salon.I also have natural curls. use friz eaze products. It can get costly, but it is worth it. if you try nothing else try the serem. you can use other product along with that which may be cheeper . There is another serem product just as good usually located next to friz eaze for better value.
The reason this works is because it is silicone based and it holds in good moisture and blocks out bad. give it a try. you will see immediate result which will get even better with time. Use the shampoo + conditioner for a while too if possible . that will heal your damaged hair.

I have very curly hair. As you can see, my pic looks a lot like yours! I can't go without conditioner first of all. Then, I just use Loreal Pumping Curls and blow dry it with my head turned over. I use a little spray to hold my curls together and I'm finished. If that doesn't work for you, I suggest getting a CHI hair staightener. It's the ONLY thing that will keep my hair straight all day. -Use conditioner by itself and not the 2-in-1.-Brush your hair to how you want it parted while the conditioner is in and rinse.
-When you towel-dry your hair, don't rub or shake it out, just wring your hair out a few times and blot-squeeze your hair between the towel until it stops dripping, trying not to separate the strands. Never blow dry it or it'll frizz.
-While still wet, use a leave-in conditioner or serum, and if you want to use products then use it now. I like to use mousse cuz it's light, not too sticky, and helps my hair dry faster.
-Avoid brushing as much as you can, use a wide-spaced comb or brush and brush it when it's still very wet.
-Let it air dry, don't mess with it too much, and you'll be good to go!

Coming from THE curlyhead expert:If your trynna go out and look cute alll day or nite take a shower,comb all the knots out,leave ur hair damp,and put Aussi Maximum Gel in thoroughly,wrap a towel around ur head and leave until it drys,the curls will all look individual and a wet look(if u have thick hair itll look hott)then just spray Frizz-Ease and Freeze On hair spray in (yes quite a bit)and it'll look and stay bangin all day!(for the next day too) BUT!
IF UR NOT TRYNNA DAMAGE UR HAIR:
You should use Tresemme'hot oil self warm treatment and Damaged hair conditioner after use leave in conditioner(Tresemme') and mix it with Smooth N Shine hair polisher This is the healthy way that ur curls will never start to dry out and get dull and they wont look dry theyll stay with a moist look THEY'LL LOOK SALON DONE EVEN THO THEYRE ALL NATURAL

Always use professional products on your hair, especially those formulated for dry and damaged hair. Beauty products (shampoos) that you get from your local drugstore are not professional! They contain wax and plastic in them therefore coating the hairshaft. Always rinse your conditioner in cool water because it closes the cuticle so the hair is not so tangled. Two good products for African American curly hair is Care Free Curl Gold and Tress Transitions by Lotta Body. Mix the two products on wet hair and it does your curls justice. A good product for Caucasian curly hair is Fantastic Sams Curl Defining Creme. Use this on wet hair also and with both types of hair always air dry.

I have curly hair as well and have struggled with my curls for years! I have a whole pharmacy of hair products in my bathroom! But I have found a few that actually work. Right now I have been using Pantene Curl Gel along with Loreal Smooth hair creme. then I spritz with Pantene curl spray gel and blow dry with a diffuser.
Sometimes I switch up my hair products. now and then it seems like my hair gets used to them or something and when i switch, my hair starts turning out well again. So I also like to use Finesse Curl mouse with John Frieda Brilliant Brunette shine serum. Then I spritz with Pantene curl spray gel and blow dry with a diffuser.
I ahve also found that the hair cut you have makes a huge difference!! I have to get mine cut into long layers for it to look nice. Soft long layers around the face also helps so that it doesn't get real thick and full just at the bottom. I like my hair to be even all over. And that's what works for me1 Good luck!
