Why is 20:15 Vision better than the magical 20:20 vision?

I have a boyfriend who's just recovering from depression do you think he will be depressed again if I left him

Zbelle60's answer is good. The 20/15 size is a letter that you can see from 20 feet away that most people have to be 15 feet away to see. Basically, it's just a little bit smaller.
