Acupuncture can be very helpful for this problem. You will need to have a series of visits, and your acupuncturist will explain what you can expect. If your condition is severe, you will most likely stay on your medication until after the acupuncture therapy has started, then, if your doctor approves, slowly backing off of it. Make sure you find an acupuncture therapist who is trained in Oriental medicine and has experience with this problem. Any proscective acupuncturist should be willing to talk you with about your concern, so make sure you ask a lot of questions. I've included a link to help you find some accredited acupuncturists.
