Answers:
Depersonalization Syndrome is a condition where a person feels as if he/she were in a dream. They feel detached from themselves. Now, all people experience depersonalization. Depersonalization is when you just feel as if you aren't in your life.

There COULD be a link between depersonalization syndrome and homosexuality IF a person denies his/her sexuality. However, in most cases, a denied sexuality is NOT the cause. As with most mental illnesses, there isn't a definite cause for depersonalization syndrome. All depersonalization syndrome is, is a chronic feeling of "not being yourself."

Perhaps there is a connection, but I imagine that any correlation should be considered on a case by case basis, instead of generalzing and falsely diagnosing everyone with either condition. Depersonalization syndrome is much more damaging.

Depersonalization is moreso a syndrome where a person masks their personality by taking on the personality of others so much until they are not a unique individual anymore.
