Answers:
It is perfectly normal to have irregular periods. If you have alot of stress it happens, or if you exercise too much, or don't eat properly, or you can be perfectly healthy and its genetic. Ask your mom if she was that way. It is slightly possible it is problem like cysts so you should definately talk to your doctor. She'll be able to figure out if it is a problem or if it is natural for you. If it really bothers you, you can go on the Pill, which will make your periods lighter and as regular as clockwork (I literally get mine at 9am on the Wednesday they are due!) So, there's nothing much to worry about since you are young, but talk to your doctor and go on the Pill if it bothers you alot.

you are not yet mature enough to have a regullar period.still,to calm your doubts see a gynocologist.
you should probably see a doctor. she might put you on birth control to regulate your period. (the same thing happened to my cousin whos 16)
You might have amenorrhoea. Check out this link and I would definitely talk to your doctor about it. It might be nothing, but it's worth mentioning to the doctor.

I would see the dr asap. It could just be the stress you are under, but if it were me, i would go to the dr just to ease my mind. How can i cure pimples, so i can have a nice healthy face.?
You probably should see a doctor. When was your very first period? It is normal to be off schedule at first but if you've had it for a year or more then it should be coming 28 to 30 days. You may have to go on birth control pills to regulate it. By 17 you should be starting your annual pap exams and this would be a time to discuss your regularity of your periods. If you are sexually active then you should take a pregnancy test. Don't put off any abnormality in your cycles as I did and now I am infertile. Good luck!Source(s):
