i don't want to alarm you but you may be smelling death

From what i've learned, you do not get any strange odors from lung cancer. She must not clean herself too well or maybe she has an affection of somesort somewhere.

She should probably talk to her doctor about this.

this is a very tough subject what you smell is due to the medication she is on, not actually what is inside of her, there are many many meds that can make one's breath very bad, good luck,

possibly necrotic tissue?

My guess would be dead tissue inside. Ask her if it's affected her taste buds or if she can smell it herself.

Obviously breath mints won't suffice. Try "breath assure" or other internal remedies, but they may not help since the source of the odor is her lungs.

Also, try a spray called "Approach". You can get it online at www.approachit.net. It's a biological odor eliminator. It will take the odor out of the air around her and if she sprays the air and inhales as she's doing it, it might help stop the smell at the source inside her as it goes through her system (it's safe to breathe in. I do all the time when I'm using it).

Can't promise it'll taste very good, but it should be a help, especially to those breathing around her.

Best of luck.

It could be all the drugs she is on because of her condition but I would tell you to call the doctor, they may need to see her.
