I signed up for a half marathon but I don't know how I'll get through it! I never ran that much before.

work up to it slowly. You need at least 13 weeks to train for a half.
You'll start by running 3-4 days a week. One long run, and 2-3 shorter runs. Cross train with swimming and biking to build up endurance.

I'm also building up my endurance, and the way that I'm working to it, it running on a track, and when I first started I would walk the straights and run the curves, then once that was too easy, (about a week) I would run the straights and walk the curves, wait until that gets easy, and then run one curve and one straight, then walk the other half, then run a lap, and slowly jog the other, alternate, and then you'll be able to build your endurance, once you can run around the track say the distance of a mile, (usually four laps), then you can ditch the track and run on trails, or in your neighborhood, and whenever you feel like you cant, just tell yourself, 10 more steps, and do it, and tell yourself again, 10 more steps. you can do it, never say can't. :) good luckwhat is the remedy for constipation .?

Do a search on how to prepare for 1/2 marathon. Train with a friend or even better sign with a local running group that suit your needs. Good luck! If that doesn't work, you can always train with me.
