Ah, I am also a biter even at my 33 years of age. But one way to deter yourself is to get fake nails done for a while. You don't want to bite those bad boys. Then eventually you will break the habit and can have them removed. Just don't get gel nails, get acrylic. Hope that helps!

its terrible i know.my friend got the same problem and her nail got smaller..its very ugly..(don't tell her i said that)..now,how to make it stop.here's some tips:

1)eat chewing gum so that u forget to chew ur nail

2)get ur nails done..like the people above me said

3)put a sign where u can see everyday.."don't bite ur nails!"

4)put lotion on your hands

5)every morning,tell urself.."i will not bite my nails today!"
