how do you temp re-adhere a crown to your tooth?
Question:
Answers:
No you do not want to temporary cement your crown in your mouth. It will work temporarily but will leak internally and promote tooth decay. If you absolutely have to temporarily cement it use Fixadent which can be easily removed from the inside of the crown and wont contaminate either surfaces including your prepared tooth.
Other Answers:
Poly grip or similar denture adhesive
Check the dental section of your local Wal-Mart or other pharmacy. They sell a temporary adhesive for this purpose.
I would definitely call a dentist. I had a crown put in this year and I had to be very careful with my temp. You don't want to mess up any work that's already been done.
