What's the most effective diet?

Question:

Answers:
Best diet: Eating the amount of healthy foods appropriate for the individual's needs, whether it is losing wait, maintaining weight or gaining weight, combining this with exercise daily, and getting enough sleep to function properly.

Other Answers:
Dieting overall is a flawed concept. It 's better to increase your energy expenditure by exercising more. But if you do decide that you want to try a diet, look into Rob Faigin's Natural Hormonal Enhancement eating program. IT is a very phsiologically sound program which will help you to drop weight.

Right now my mom is on this diet that she made up and it is working for her.

She's eating a healthy breakfast, having a salad for lunch, and having dinner on a smaller plate.

Think about porportions. Meat the size of a deck of cards and so on.

Also she is not eating or drinking anything but water after eight o'clock at night.

She has been on this diet about 3 1/2 weeks and has already lost 15 or so pounds.

Fact

I always liked weight watchers. Teaches you smaller portion sizes but you have to count points. It's similar to counting calories almost, except it takes into consideration: Fat, Calories, and Dietary Fibers. Www.mercola.com i think that's the website, also has a Optimal Wellness Program (exTREMELY strict though) but it teaches you the "right" way to eat, which is basically vegetables. Weight Watchers has veggeis at 0 points, so you can eat as many as you want, and in the process filling you up and giving you nutrients. With weight watchers you don't have to change your eating habbits necessarily, but if you want to 'save' points you eat foods with smaller point values.
