Coughs shouldn't last more then one month, even if you smoke, which I hope your 4 year old does not do. (If you smoke go outside till the little one gets better) If you do not have insurance Look in the phone book for Free clinics. Usually children that young can get insurance that is covered by the State. Whatever the problem is, it is long past time to take this child to the doctor, sign up for some vaccinations while you are there.
