Caffeine withdrawal shouldnt last much longer than a week. It's ok to use tylenol while you withdraw.

Actually, it should go away in about 3 days; if you're past the 3 day mark, you *really* had a caffeine addiction! Maybe go with a half-caff coffee (just ONE cup) and slowly add decaff coffee daily until you work yourself down to fully decaf coffee. Once you're there, just quit drinking the decaf.

Excedrin has a low dose of caffeine in it, so if you've not used that yet, you might give it a try. Do NOT exceed the recommended dosages.

I had this problem when i gave up coffee. One good alternative is to drink Green tea (U can add a teabag of berry or herbal tea like peppermint to make it taste better) It has a minimal ammount of caffine in it that will keep the headaches at bay and green tea is great for ur immune system, ur metabolism, and also contains anti-oxidents that help protect u from cancer. I drink 2-3 cups a day now and i dont even miss my coffee.
