Well from a theoretical standpoint, if you are dying from a terminal illness that causes you pain, you may consider hospice or assited suicide. But other than that, get help and tell your closest friend becasue all you need to do is change the circumstance, not end your life. Times change, things change, you change. You will not always be at this point in your life.

I suggest that, if you are considering suicide, you turn to a Higher Power, be it God, Jesus, Goddess, Buddha, whatever. Ask for help from both the divine and your fellow man.
Many people who have commited suicide have often done so because they feel alone, unwanted and a burden.
If any of those three are factors in your decision, keep in mind that you aren't alone because people don't like you, you're alone because that's where you've placed yourself. Be more open with other people and they'll feel more comfortable being around you. If you feel unwanted, there are people around you who love you very dearly, including though not limited to parents, friends, co-workers and relatives. no one on earth is ever unwanted. If you feel that you're a burden on people, just think about after you're dead. the funeral costs including coffin, service, a place to bury you. That is what will make you a burden.
Children especially feel they are burdens to parents. they aren't burdens, they are joys of life, even if their parents aren't their biological ones.

Well, I don't see any advantages to commiting suicide. In fact, if I'm not mistaken I believe it's a crime to attempt suicide. So, do yourself and your family a favor- tell someone how you are feeling so that you can get the help you desperately need. It will prevent a lot of heartache for you as well as your family.

Have you recently lost someone to death? There comes a time when everyone has to deal with death, and for those who really can't comprehend the process, they try and figure out ways to understand it. But if this is not the case and you are asking just because, and I hope that is the only reason you are asking, I will answer by saying: There is no advantage to stepping into Gods place and taking your own life. Even the terminally ill, should not give up until the end. God does not put on us any more than we can handle. The word "HOPE" is the strongest word in the dictionary. Hope has cured people who should of never been cured. Hope has brought loved ones that we thought that we would never see again, home. Hope has gotten people out every kinda of situation you may think of. Now I HOPE your study will be completed with the answers you received today, and that you will never ponder about suicide again.

I am now 67 yrs old, and recall, when I was much younger, I attempted to do something so very stupid. I believe I just wanted to gain attention. But, now looking back, how much I would have lost out on. I have a son, a wonderful marriage partner of 40 years, and became a very important person in the medical field. I found God, and His Son Jesus Christ, and have since written and published 2 books! Now, isn't that something worthwhile living for? How much would have been lost, because of my own selfishness? I have never looked back, only when I run across a question like yours.
