university medical or proactiv?
i've heard both good things and bad about proactiv and the cheaper university medical version that's at walmart or walgreen's. but i want to see are they really that similar?? thank you.

I bought the AcneFree from University Medical, and I think it works great! The only thing it doesn't really help me with is my oil. I'm still oily, but my skin is much clearer. You have to be prepared for some extra pimples to come out initially, but after a few weeks, maybe just two, you will be glad you bought it. However, I didn't try Proactiv, so I can't compare them. I'm older.35.so if you are young, it might be different on you, also.

Generally, those acne systems have to pass muster with the FDA before they can make any claims that they work. I'd start by looking on the package of the walmart or walgreen systems to see this. The proactiv solution has approval. Also, try talking to your doctor or dermatologist about it. You may also want to go onto their respective websites and check out the info on them. A friend of mine tried the proactiv solution and it did nothing for him. It may be different for you, after all, no one is the same or reacts the same to treatments. Good luck hon!
