Does Peridex Oral Rinse, if used correctly, effect the bowels in any way?

Question: I was prescribed Peridex Oral Rinse for a gum infection. I am also having problems with my colostomy. I cannot risk anything effecting my bowel habits in any way. If I take the Peridex correctly and not swallow any of it will I have any problems with my colostomy?

Answers:
Shouldn't affect you, but make sure you don't swallow any saliva for a few minutes after. If you are still not sure, ask your pharmacist. They know their stuff!
