What is the "normal" amount of time for a woman's period to return after stoping Depo Provera injections?

I only have one Ovary and some scar tissue due to some female problems/surgeries. I would think this is a factor in my cycle returning but any advise is appreciated.

I stopped my Depo a few years ago. I think my period returned to normal within 6 months. I do know it didn't come back right away.
