Other Answers:
I'm not an expert on this, but if your kids are able to eat eggs (ie. they're not allergic), they're good. My cousin's toddler was constipated for about a year, but couldn't eat eggs. She tried bananas but it didn't work. Everyone is different, but a combination of fresh bananas, either whole or mashed and freshly-squeezed orange juice is my best tip.
Also, too much rice in the diet can be a cause of constipation.

Hope that helps!

Also, i just remembered, dried figs are great if you can get them.

Good luck.
