Answers:
Before applying make up, make sure your skin is relatively clean and smooth (using a mild cleanser before make up application is a good idea). It's a good idea to apply a moisturizer as well.

I start with concealer, but that is only because my concealer is too light to be put over my foundation. If your concealer matches your skintone well, it is suggested to use it AFTER the liquid foundation, and before powder.
Anyway, dot your concealer in the necessary areas. If you have dark circles under your eyes, apply a little there, and on blemishes. Blend it in. Then dot on your liquid foundation. Make sure to add an even amount, and use a light touch. You don't want it to look too obvious or heavy. I prefer using a sponge because it gives a more natural and smooth finish to your liquid foundation. Using your fingers gives your skin a higher amount of coverage, and a lot of times it doesn't look very natural.
After you have smoothed on an even, thin layer of liquid, apply your powder. If you are using a pressed powder, use the sponge/puff provided. I suggest also using a powder brush after sweeping on the powder so as to make sure everything is even and natural looking. A nice quality powder brush (like L'Oréal's or CoverGirl's) helps give your skin that smooth, natural finish.
Well that's it! Good luck.

Is there still hope for me to grow taller?

does putting a magnet on pacemaker stop the pacemaker from working?

- moisturizer
- makeup base/primer only if you have really troubled skin
- apply foundation using a foundie brush
- dab concealor if needed (eg. to hide dark circles, red spots, blemishes, etc) using a concealor brush
- dust loose powder to help the makeup stay on

note:
- apply concealor 1st if you have blotchy skin
- if you apply concealor in the eyes area, smooth it out before dusting loose powder to avoid creases

i dont like to use sponge cause it absorbs all the liquid
good luck and have fun =)

i have a terrible dundruff, could anyone share a home remedy for this?

well wehn it comes to the base i.e. foundation or concealer, powder etc.you'll need the perfect shade to not be getting yourself looking madeup/unnatutal. to do so here's a tip

your foundation should vanish into your skin without trace, so when shoppig in a department store, don't EVER buy base without trying it on! here's how

pick a few colors: show up with a clean, bare face. select few tones closest to your natural skin tone. many makeup artist believe that yellow-based foundation looks warmest and most natural on all skin tones but if you're extremely fair, try something a little bit pinker and cooler.

put them on: apply on your small amount jawline and not your inner hand or wrist so that you can make sute that the base matches your face and neck hence AVOIDING the dreaded mask effect.

if you need lots of coverage, get a stick or cream foundation other wise liquid foundation will do. the best way to apply is using your fingers the warmth of your fingers will encourage the base to soak into your face (if you're using stick, onece appliedstraight from the sitck, blend and soften the edges using your finger or a sponge)

as for powder, it depends on which powder, pressed powder?loose powder?iridescent powder? if you're referring to pressed powder or loose, you may need them to set the foundation. some say that its not necessary but i'd say you'll need them. by applying if you could mattify oily skin (we tend to get shines at the T-zone) plus its great to minimized large pores if you have them!

pressed powder: perfect for touch ups, portable and can be applied on bare skin

loose powder: sets make up, blots shine and leaves skin looking lightly buffed. yellow hue gives a warm glow and runs a lower risk of turning thick and chalky as the day goes on.

iridescent powder: contains light deflecting ingredients such as pear and mica. it feels like loose powder. applu it with large brush to sweep it across the forehead, cheekbones and jawline. use it over foundation or on bare skin

as for concealer the application is by patting not rubbing motion with your finger/a small firm bristled nylon concealer brush with a tappered end instead of sweeping it

hope this will help

Going crazy with doubt..?

poison ivy said it well.you can get tips from beauty counters at the mall or even a mary kay rep.

would you rather?

Well said Ivy!

I am a Mary Kay beauty consultant and could not have said it better. although alot of people do like sponges. I personally do not. I find that the warmth from my hands warms the foundation and make it more "spreadable".

For your military ball: Most Mary Kay consultants offer free skin care consultations and glamour makeovers, you can find a consultant by simply going to www.marykay.com and entering your zip code for a consultant near you! I hope this helps, if i can be of furthur assisstance please feel free to contact me at jennrego@marykay.com.

how do i stop my wrist from hurting?

I like sponges for blending blush and they are absolutely essential for blending at the jawline.

my whole body is numb what is wrong?

concealer
foundation
powder
sponges are best but it depends on you some people put it on with their fingers. It will look unnatural if you dont use the correct color with your skin tone. I say, go to your local department store Foleys, Dillards, etc so they can help you choose what color is best for you and show you how to put your makeup on. Have fun at the party.
