You answered your own question: diet and exercise.I can only tell you what has been working for ME.
Monday-Friday, I do 2 meals of Slimfast and 1 meal of food. At that meal I eat half or less of what I would usually eat. No dessert.
Saturday-Sunday I eat 2-3 meals per day of food; again only half. 1 dessert allowed over the weekend.
3 days a week I work out in a pool for 90 minutes at a time. This is a full body workout which includes cardio, flexibility and strength training.
I've dropped about 15 lbs and several sizes in the last few months.
I recently also went back on Phentermine, a prescription diet pill. It's only for short-term use.
My plan is a little extreme, but I have a LOT of weight to lose. I see a medical doctor, a therapist, a nutritionist and a personal trainer monthly.
