No, I don't think smoking should be banned in public places. I am a non-smoker, but a supporter of an indivdual's rights. If they're going to ban smoking, what other rights are they going to take away from us? Free speech? Voting? The right to bear arms? Anything that takes away a citizens's freedoms, or the right guaranteed in the Constitution to their particular pursuit of happiness, I am firmly against.

Yes, smoking should not be allowed in front of public places! Ban it, make a law, do something about it!

As a non-smoker of 17 years (& a former smoker!!) I should not have to walk through the smoke to get to my destination, as far as some smokers go, they can be/ & are inconsiderate and obviously do not think of non-smokers.

There are plenty of places to go smoke, like in back of the establishment, side of bldg, in their car, by the road.plenty of options, but since they are lazy and can't walk any further to smoke than right outside the front door of wherever it is we want to enter.Eh!

I don't think TH422 understood the question fully, you said "that smoking should be banned in front of public places". TH422 understood- "that smoking should be banned completely".Oh well, at least we know the answer to that question if it were asked!

IN FRONT OF IS NO BIGGIE IF THE SMOKE IS NOT DRIFTING INTO THE PUBLIC PLACE, THEN WHAT IS THE HARM. IF YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO LIVES IN USA THAT THEY CANT SMOKE INSIDE BECAUSE THEY AFFECT OTHERS WITH THEIR OWN CHOICE TO DO SO, THEN IT IS SILLY TO ALSO SAY THEY CAN NOT DO SO OUTSIDE WITHOUT TAKING AWAY THEIR RIGHT TO CHOOSE TO DO SO.
