A portion of the front of your tooth is taken down and an impression is taken. The impression is sent to a lab where the veneers are fabricated. The dentist places the veneers on the teeth with a special type of 'glue'. Depending on what part of the U.S. you live in they will run between about $550 - $1200 each. Insurance will not cover any of the cost of veneers as they are considered cosmetic. Beware, they tend to pop off often and need to be re-cemented.
