Do it yourself, it's easy!

Just go get a pair of cutters, a spray bottle full of water, and go stand over a sink. Then just start chopping away at that rats nest you call hair.

It will be free, and either cool or funny, which are basically the same when it comes to hair.

Grab a friend and go to town, cutting your own hair is pretty much easy, just look at a hair cut you like and figure out how to cut your own hair, its really easy to do :)

Buy a flo-bee.

there is nothing inexpensive about NYC. if you can't afford that haircut why don't you give mom's basement a 2nd chance. it's probably bigger than that closet you call an apartment

Buy a bottle of Nair and use it as shampoo.
