When i wax my upper lip it breaks out in spots a couple of days later? How can i stop this? Hair removal cream doesnt remove the hair fully, i need to wax.

i got this trick from my husband actually.he told me to try it and I figured.it couldn't hurt. At bath and body works they sell a cooling gel in their men's section. It's meant for shaving to stop razor burn.but when I use it on areas I've waxed, it doesn't turn red or blotchy. It stings like a m*ther f*cker, but works. I started waxing at night and put it on before I go to bed so I can wash my face in the morning and not smell like my husband after shaving lol.

I think that's a result of the wax being too hot. I've had that on my eyebrow area and when the wax is cooler it doesn't happen.
