systitis is a symptom of being allergic to orange juice and you should cut down the amount you drink!

Both my daughter and my nephew are allergic to fresh orange juice, it makes their lips really dry, sore and blistered.

Yes; and the girl who hadn't known that she was allergic was sick [vomited] and thereafter, had breakouts if she even LOOKED at an orange!
Hope this answered the Q for you!

grown son is, he suffered for years as a child because we never realised that the orange juice was at the root of his headache (that put him in bed ) and the sudden onset of vomiting.

I used to be allergic to oranges (and lots of other raw fruits and vegetables too) before I had allergy shots. My mouth, lips, and throat would itch within five minutes of drinking it. I would also get a stomache.

I don't have an allergic reaction to orange juice itself but I do know that the acidity contained in citrus can have an adverse affect on other allergies and may cause prolonged problems with any meds taken for treatment.
