what are some foods that are good for an enlarged prostate?

Question:
I do not have insurance, and a change in my diet has got to be a better way to live than not being able to afford the doctor recommended drugs.

Answers:
Soy food, lots of water

Other Answers:
Omega-3 fish like salmon and tuna . Zinc enriched foods and Saw Palmetto is a great Herb for Prostate health. You could try Flax seed ground onto a fiber cereal you like and stay away from all meat and dairy.I know its hard but once you start it will get easy. Use Soy milk instead of dairy. I like Silk Soy milk. My husband has done this for the last 7 years.Eggs have zinc and we eat those but I don't know if you should. I am thinking of giving up eggs also. Eat lots of Raw vegetables and fresh fruit .Hope something I stated helps.

Talk to your doctor and tell him you have no health insurance. Ask him if he can give you samples of the drugs you need. Also find out from the doctor if the drug manufacture has a program to help the uninsured with medications they can't afford. Usually they will give you a years supply for FREE. I have been on several of those programs myself.
All they can say is no, but you won't know unless you try.
Go talk to your doctor. He maybe able to help get the drugs you need. Changing your diet may be good over all, but I never heard it as a remedy or replacement for needed medications for a health problem. Talk to your doctor.
Good Luck.
