How to avoid razor burn or rahes at the groin?

Question:
How to avoid razor burns or rashes at the groin when shaving the groin's pubic hairs? will hair removal creams that ladies used be a better alternative( is it advisable for using at the groin? is it safe?)? when shaving must use shaving cream? can recommend a better shaver if its the best choice? how to prevent the pubic hair from growing back very fast?if started shaving once,is it best to continue?

Answers:
I would not use hair removal creams. The skin of the genital region (for both men and women) is very sensitive, and you will end up with a rash that burns, and people will think you have some sort of STD. I would recommend using Cetaphil body wash. It doesn't lather, but it keeps the skin moisturized, even after shaving. To help prevent razor burn after you shave rinse or splash the area with cold water for a minute or so. You need to keep the skin moisturized, and the best for after shaving is a product called Aquafore. It's kinda like Vaseline, but it allows your skin to breathe. I would rub a thin layer on. You can find both at your drug store. Another tip to avoid razor burn, use a new razor, and don't shave the same area twice, and go in the direction of the hair growth. These will help you lessen any bumps. Hair grows in cycles, so the hair you have just shaved may not grow back for a week, but a day or so later the stubble you see is other hair growing. If you start shaving once, it is best to continue because shaving makes hair grow back more coarse and thick. If you don't want hair to begin with, then you definitely dont want thick coarse hair. Hope this helps, and don't knick your self. ;)

Other Answers:
dont shave there

*very* sharp razor & light pressure.

or, just get nair, yes, it works just fine. make sure to wash it off quickly, or you'll get a burn/rash.

Don't shave body hair, especially there. Try something that involves pulling out instead.

why would you consider shaving down there? i would leave that place alone because you could cause an infection./ like tenderness and swelling of the skin/ because the skin down there is not used to being shaved/ it is not like your face/ it is [weaker]due to /not getting much air and being covered all time.etc.

well if u have the prob of razor burn then i would just use like a pair of small Scissors

why are you shaving youre groin??

don't shave against the grain of growth of the hair. Shave in the same direction it grows. It won't get as close of a shave but it prevents most razor burn. I also put vaseline on the area afterwards if it is prone to razor burn. Or you can just get a cheap beard trimmer and just keep the area short, but not shaved.

They make electric trimmers now for trimming pubic hair. Use one of those and just cut it down short. No bare shave, no razor burn.

Bikini Zone!! Safe for skin, groin, pubis..you name it

Put gas on it and burn it off stupid.

Honestly I know this sounds dumb. But.you need to get a good razor. The new fusion is the best one yet. Most people dont know that the RAZOR is supposed to do the work. You are NOT to apply ample pressure to the razor, as this irritates the skin, and then causes complications such as folliculitis and hyperkeritosis pyloris. Also, wet your skin with warm water before putting shaving cream on. This stimulates the skin, and bloodflow, therefore allowing a smoother, healthier shave.

use magic shave
