What the heck is a circumsision?

Question:

Answers:
It's where the foreskin of the penis is removed either for religious reasons or for personal preference of the parents. It is totally unnecessary procedure and causes undo pain on the child. Don't let anyone tell you that is isn't painful for the boy b/c they have to strap the him down and they cut it off. This, in some cultures is done to females. Wait tell the child gets older and then ask them if they want to have it done. There is absolutely no medical reason for doing this procedure to him/her. It is pretty barbaric if you think about it. Poor baby!

when they cut the excess skin on little boy babies thing

Its as they say, the foreskin of the penis gets cut when a male is a baby, its based on a jewish tradition. The newer generations have the option of circumcision, whereas traditionally it was common to have it done to a newborn male with my gen and before.

It's when they torture newborn baby boy's.

It is when the forskin of the male part is removed, mostly for cleanliness, but sometimes for religious purposes.

It is when the Dr. "cuts" the skin that comes forward over the penis. It is usually a good idea. I dated a guy back in the 60's, and when he was 23 yrs. old, he had to have it done. It was very painful for him, and he had to have a lot of stitches. The Dr. told him, it would have been better if he had been circumsized when he was born. He had developed infections under the foreskin, and he needed to have it done at that time, according to the Dr. They also say it heals faster, and is less painful when done to a newborn, as opposed to when you are older, and a health problem arises.
