Where and when are you taking the boards? There are several different cities that host the National Board review. It is several classes that go over what to study and what kind of format the test is given in. I took the National Board Review for hygiene back in 2002. I took the board review in January and then took the real deal in march. I passed with almost flying colors. I got a high B which is very good given the magnitude of the test. Would I take the board review over again? Prob. not, given that the college I attended prepared us so well. We took several "mock" board tests to prepare us for the real thing. If you know your stuff, and made great grades in school (I had a 3.8 GPA) then you will do fine on the National Board. It is just a cumulative test of everything you learned in dental/ hygiene school. Best of luck. Try Docere.com for access to hygiene and dental related topics.
