Is it possible to use too much hand sanitizer?

Question:
I work in an office and I can't always get up to wash my hands after dealing with a sick customer or co-worker.

Answers:
I was told by my Biology Professor that hand sanitizer isn't good at all because the 99.9% of germs and bacteria that it kills is the good bacteria that you need but doesn't do anything to the more harmful germs and bacteria because it's not strong enough.

I would think so. I have a friend who travelled to El Salvador and was using Purel all the time. After a couple of weeks, she felt numbness in her hands, and her skin also started to dry out.

just make sure you have lotion to apply after. Hand sanitizer are alchohol base, therefore could dry your skin eaisly. these days you can never use too much of hand sanitizer.

probably.you can use to much of anything

I don't think that anyone could use too much. But my cousin is OC uses it all the time and the only thing that I can see is that she has really dry hands, even with her using lotion.
