difference between epidemic/pandem.

Question:

Answers:
# of bodies/day. "Pandemic" is used so as not to scare the sheep: "Oooo I must have a H5N1 shot!" "Epidemic" is when the gloves are off and we're in deep trouble.

If you think I'm being funny, I don't think the dead folks in Turkey and Asia care too much about the difference between pandemic & epidemic, they're both killed by flocks of wild birds.

Other Answers:
The word epidemic is used to describe an illness that certain amount of the population in a specific region have. Pandemic is world wide. There hasn't been an epidemic since I was born and I have seen that word many times, it doesn't scare me. If the bird flu becomes a pandemic, I won't worry about it. I'll just tell myself you will not get the bird flu. I did that ten years ago and I haven't had the flu since. So, see. It worked.
