am i ok? MY HEAD HURTS!?

Question:
on thursday during weight lifting i was trying to lift too much and i fell and the bar hit me in the head. i felt dizzy and sick to my stomach the rest of the day. starting the day after (yesterday, friday) ive had dizzy spells and theres a little pain that shoots from the area (internally) and it hurts like hell! should i go to the doctor? am i ok?
* theres no knot on my head from it

Answers:
Thats when u worry when u can't feel a knot..swelling from the inside means pressure and fluid buildup on the inner part of the cranium causin pressure to push literally on your brain which could cause multiple problems..may even cause clotting.I suggest u see a doctor u could of even fractured ur skull. GOOD LUCK

Other Answers:
Yep. see the doc.

You might have a concussion, you have the symptoms, if you aren't better by tomorrow, go to the ER. Ice your head where it hit, rest, don't exercise or do anything involving too much activity. If your eyes feel blurry or you become very tired like can't keep your eyes open, start vomiting, spike a fever, please to to the ER immediately, have someone drive you.

go to the doctor. if there is swelling in the brain and not just the cranium it could lead to epiletic attacks as far as i know(i'm not a expert). therefore go the doctor.

You most likely have a concussion. I would worry LESS if you DID have a knot on your head. Depending on how hard you hit your head, having a knot would indicate that the swelling is not internal. Seek medical advice immediately.

I don't think I would wait. Maybe you should go to the ER tonight. If you wait, it might get worse. You really want to take head injuries very seriously. Good luck!

I would go to the ER and have a DR. check you out!!
