i can't sleep at night.why?
Question:
what should i do?
Answers:
I suggest you start to excise again. I think cheerleading would be a good sport. It will also relief a lot of the stress that is going through your head. You are going through a lot with your drama at school. I believe this is the key issue of your sleeping problems. Try and relax at night, but start early in the evening. I am sorry that you are going through so much these past weeks.. remember, there are a lot of people who love and care for you! Cheer up.. get it? "CHEER" up!
Other Answers:
relax
you can set up a routine every night before you sleep such as take a nice relaxing shower , drink milk, have some white noise while u sleep such as sea sounds or the sound of a fan.
hope this helps!
Just keep trying to go to bed earlier and earlier. Exercise a few hours before you want to go to bed..to use up energy. Then eat right before you sleep. That always works for me. You could also try stuff like Nyquil or other sleep aids to help your body get used to going to sleep at the same time.
try MELATONIN, it really works
If you find a solution pleasse email me.
depends on how old you are. Sounds like you are very young. If so relaxing every part of your body one at a time used to work for me. Start at the top and work down and think of pleasant things i.e. beach,walks,looking at stars..
are you stressed out right now
are you having too much caffeine
try tiring yourself out with exercises.
excercise, meditate, make love, relax.all things to help you sleep
You are too busy with Yahoo Q+A!
You should see a psychologist about your addiction to Yahoo Q+A!
Read a book sure fire way to fall asleep.

i dunt have a solution for you but i do know that you should not take any drugs for your sleeping especailly at this age. dose things help you sleep but it doesn't mean u can just use it.
Maybe you're drinking too much caffeine!
I had the same problem, and the only thing that worked for me was, not to get in to bed until you are completely exhausted. Never nap in the middle of the day. Get up early and stay up until you need to sleep, because of total exhaustion, that night.
maybe u think too much..try to relax..dont force urself..the key is to try stay awake..the harder u try to stay awake the faster u fall asleep..gudluck
Some things to try:
Read a book in bed.
Use one of those sound machines.
Drink chamomile tea in the evening.
Avoid drinks with caffeine.
change your dwelling,relax,try to forget many things job,study .
OPTIONS . what do you think about when you are in bed? (other than me of course . haha)
As the experts say . things you should do include (1) getting a set bedtime (2) not using your bed for eating (3) closing your eyes and just laying there
What has helped me .
* White Noise.having a fan on to hear the buzz (helps get rid of all other noises)
* Tranquility CD.of sounds like ocean waves crashing
* Closing my eyes and practicing "belly breathing"
* Laying next to my dog . and trying to match the dogs breathing . holding my breath when she does and exhaling when she does
* Taking a mild tranquilizer perscribed by Doc (Lorazapan - 1mg)
What has NOT helped me fall asleep.
* having coffee after 4pm
* taking a nap in the late afternoon
* eating a late dinner
* having sugar & dessert
* staying up past my bedtime answering people's questions on Yahoo!Answers
* logging in with my AIM or Yahoo and chatting with friends on messenger
* working out and getting my energy level up
* going to bed naked with my girlfriend at the time

I asked a similar question and here was the answer I found most helpful. I give the credit to nightevisions. Hope it helps you too.
It helps to have a relaxing routine before bed. Do something calming. Whatever that might be for you. a warm bath, a hot cup of tea, reading a book.
If you lie there awake when you go to bed, occupy your mind in a non distressing way. Recite a childhood fairytale such as the 3 Bears. and when your mind starts to wander to everyday worries, pull it firmly back to the story. you'll fall asleep before you get past the porridge!
