Talk to your doctor, who will probably refer to to a gastroenterologist. There are SEVERAL different forms of IBS, and treatments are different for men and women. If you appointment with your doctor is not immediate, keep a journal of how often you find yourself in the bathroom. This can be helpful.
Also, find a support group. Start off at www.ibsgroup.org

A friend of mine tried hypnosis and it worked (and insurance covers it in many circumstances). I know it sounds a little out there but you should try it. There are also different medications that your gastrointerologist can prescribe, such as muscle relaxants, etc. Seek medical advice.
Get treatment from a doctor and you may need to change your diet, I know someone with IBS.
